BSI Products Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high quality flags and other novelty licensed merchandise. I worked in conjunction with a designer to make BSIProducts.com a destination for BSI's customers, both wholesale and retail.
The site's code is W3C validated xHTML put together dynamically on the web server using Microsoft's ASP scripting technology. This combination of technologies offers quick loading and enhanced cross browser compatibility. The site design facilitates rapid content updates and takes advantage of server side includes. The entire presentation of the site is handled via cascading style sheets to allow precise positioning of formatted visual elements. This helps the design display consistently over a wide range of customer computers (and browsers).
In addition to the publicly visible website, I code and maintain a central site for BSI's wholesale customers to access and easily download images of their products for inclusion on their own websites and catalogs. The site contains multiple resolutions and formats of over 1000 different products. This site has saved BSI's employees time and money by eliminating their need to manually reply to requests for these images. This site is hosted with Strongspace, a provider of secure ftp services, allowing users to either login via a secure ftp connection, or a web based frontend.
